Hart Chamber to Sponsor Small Business Job Fair this Week

More opportunities are available for those seeking employment.

Speaking at the Hart County Board of Commissioners meeting last week, Hart County Chamber Executive Director Terri Partain said local businesses will be holding a job fair this week.

Terri Partain said a job fair by local industries held in March was very successful and recently, a number of small businesses have reached out to have a job fair also.

“So we are going to have a job fair for any small business on Thursday, May 12 from 4p to 6p,” she said. “That will be at the Adult Learning Center. We can house up to 20 businesses/employers comfortably. So, if there is an employer/small business interested we’re taking registrations and applications for that.”

Partain added that anyone looking for work is welcome to come to the Job Fair next week.

She said there will be part-time, full-time, and seasonal job openings available.

Remember to dress for an interview and bring a copy of your resume if you have one.

Meantime, Partain last week also announced her resignation as the Executive Director of the Hart County Chamber of Commerce.

Partain said she wants to concentrate full-time on her real estate business.

Taking her place as the new Executive Director is Lindsey Ingle who has been working in the Chamber office.
