Haring Schedules Open House for New U.S. Hartwell Plant

German auto parts maker Haring Precision USA is planning a grand opening on November 4 to show off their plant in the Gateway 2 Industrial Park to local business and government leaders.

According to Dr. Jurgen Haring, owner, and president of the Haring Group, the November event will show off their 150,000 sq foot production space containing 40 acres of state-of-the-art machinery.

In 2014, former Gov. Nathan Deal announced Haring’s plan to locate its first U.S. manufacturing facility in Hartwell, creating 800 jobs by 2025 and investing $54 million into the project.

The new facility manufactures fuel injection parts and other precision components for the automotive industry.

Some of the newly created positions include extensive training, as well as learning German, at the company’s headquarters in Germany.

Founded in 1961, Häring has steadily grown to become one of the leading partners of the automotive industry.

Today, at its three state-of-the-art production locations in Germany, Poland, and China, the company manufactures precision components and subassemblies to satisfy the demands of its customers.

Haring is one of more than 120 automotive manufacturers that have invested more than $5 billion in the state of Georgia.
