Mr. James Chandler “Hank” Carey, 77, of Royston, GA passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018, at the Kindred Hospice Inpatient Unit in Athens, GA. Funeral services for Mr. Carey will be held in the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 17, 2018. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening. The family is at the home of his son, Ben Carey at 37 Bennett Road Bowersville, GA 30516.
