Gumlog Brewing Company Opens in Downtown Lavonia

 

A new Pub is open in downtown Lavonia and will be one of the downtown businesses open for Tuesday evening’s Christmas tree Winter Wonderland event.

Gumlog Brewing Company on West Ave. opened officially on Saturday.

Owners Adam and Megan Woody said it’s been a long journey and they are excited to finally be able to serve the fine folks in Lavonia and beyond.

Originally, from Asheville, NC, Megan Woody says they decided to set up shop in Lavonia because they saw a need for a pub-style bar.

 

Adam Woody says he brews all different types of ales and beers so there will be something for everyone.

Adam Woody added that even though he is still waiting on his license from the Health Department to brew beer on the premises he already has a large variety of other craft beers available on tap.

Additionally, Gumlog Brewing Co. also serves wine and a pub-style lunch menu as well as traditional pub-type snacks, and non-alcoholic beers.

The new pub also includes games such as darts, and competitions including quiz nights, karaoke nights, and live music nights.

Gumlog Brewing is open from 11:30a to 11p on Fridays and Saturdays, and 1p to 9p on Sundays.

During the week they are open from 11:30a to 9p and closed on Tuesdays.

Gumlog Brewing Co. is located at 5806 West Avenue across from the Synovus Bank Building in downtown Lavonia.
