Georgia Grown Holiday Gift Guide Now Available

If you’re stuck for what to give that out-of-state friend for Christmas, you might want to consider something Georgia grown.

Last week, State Agriculture Commissioner  Gary Black and the Georgia Department of Agriculture  announced the release of the 2013 Georgia Grown Holiday Gift Guide.

The annual Georgia Grown Holiday Gift Guide is available online at www.georgiagrown.com and is comprised of various food products and gifts that are exclusive to Georgia.

A few of this year’s items include holiday gift baskets, freshly baked items, pastries, sauces, salsas, jams, jellies, honey, pecans, candy products, wines, cheeses, olive oil, Georgia Grown merchandise and more!

The Gift Guide offers a special opportunity for consumers to remember Georgia’s producers and agribusinesses during the holiday season, while also supporting our state’s local economies.

Black said Christmas is a great time of year to support your local economy by purchasing gifts for your loved ones made right here in Georgia.

Again, the Georgia Grown Gift Guide can be found at www.georgiagrown.com.
