Georgia Gas Prices Continue to Fall

Georgia gas prices continue to decline at the pump compared to a week ago.

Georgia drivers are now paying an average price of $3.25 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline (subject to change overnight).

Monday’s state average is 8 cents lower than a week ago, and 28 cents more than this time last year.

It now costs $48.75 to fill a 15-gallon tank of regular gasoline. Drivers are now paying almost 5 dollars less to fill-up at the pump compared to a month ago.

Montrae Waiters, AAA-The Auto Club Group spokeswoman tells WLHR News the decrease in crude oil prices have had a noticeable impact at the pump.

Since last Monday, the national average for a gallon of regular gasoline has decreased by 7 cents to $3.71 (subject to change overnight).

Most expensive Georgia metro markets – Savannah ($3.36), Atlanta ($3.30) and Hinesville-Fort Stewart ($3.29).

Least expensive Georgia metro markets – Warner Robins ($3.04), Catoosa-Dade-Walker ($3.03) and Dalton ($2.98).
