GBI: Investigation Continues into Toccoa Toddler’s Death

An autopsy is scheduled for the body of a toddler who was found dead in a Toccoa home.

Toccoa police responded to a call the evening of Monday, January 30 of an unresponsive child at home in the area of Riley St., according to GBI Agent in Charge Kimberly Williams with the GBI Regent 8 office in Cleveland.

Williams said her agents were called at the request of investigators with the Toccoa Police Department.

According to Agent Williams, the investigation is ongoing and no other details have been released.
