GBI Arrests Former Hart County HS Parapro on Sexual Assault Charges

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has arrested a former Hart County High School paraprofessional on sexual assault charges.

According to GBI Spokeswoman Nelly Miles, on Thursday, April 11 the GBI was requested by the Hartwell Police Department to assist with a child abuse/molestation investigation that involved an incident that happened while 27-year-old Keenan Anderson of Bowersville was employed with the Hart County High School.

The investigation led agents to arrest Anderson.

He’s charged with one count of sexual assault by persons with supervisory or disciplinary authority, two counts of criminal attempt of sexual assault by persons with supervisory or disciplinary authority, and one count of Tampering with Evidence.

Anderson is currently booked at the Hart County Jail and has resigned from the school.

Miles said the investigation is active and ongoing.
