Frank Whitmire

Mr. Franklin Rufus “Frank” Whitmire, 81, of Bowman, Georgia, died on Friday, August 11, 2023 at his home.  A memorial service will be held Monday, August 14, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service also at the funeral home.  At other times, the family will be at the home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hope For The World – India, PO Box 835, Hartwell GA 30643.  Online condolences may also be sent to the family by visiting www.stricklandfh.com.  Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services – Hartwell Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
