Mr. Frank Robert Mayer Thompson, age 53, of Canon, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at his home following an extended illness. The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia with Rev. John Forbes and Rev. Chris Page officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia is in charge of the arrangements.
