Mrs. Sara Frances (Lewis) Carter Maye, age 80, of Canon, Ga. died Sunday September 27, 2015 at the home of her daughter. The funeral service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday September 30, 2015 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bowers Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6 pm to 8 pm. At other hours the families will be at the home of Hilda Thomason Lavonia.
