Four More Suspects Arrested in Connection with Hart Co Marijuana Bust

Last Tuesday, GBI agents and Hart County Investigators went to a home on Ridge Road Tuesday where they recovered what Sheriff Mike Cleveland said was a “trafficking amount of marijuana” along with cash and a handgun.

On Wednesday another search warrant was conducted at another location, which resulted in an additional trafficking amount of marijuana, cash, and another weapon.

Cleveland said over 40 lbs of high-quality marijuana was seized, two semi-automatic weapons, over $11,000 in cash as well as a Jail Break Hell Cat Dodge Charger with a value of approximately $100,000.

Arrested was arrested 21-year-old Diamond Scott and 25-year-old Bryson Jordan, Jr.

Both are charged with Felony Trafficking Marijuana, Tampering with Evidence, Felony Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime, and Felony Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute.

Jordan faces an additional charge of Felony Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

Since then, the Sheriff’s office has released the names of four more suspected gang members who were arrested that they say are connected to the initial arrests last week. They are:

120360F – Treaton Shoemaker, age 21

120355F – Thomeatrius Waller, Age 22

120356F – Christavious N Feaster, Age 26

Sheriff Cleveland said Friday the seizure of of marijuana stemmed from an ongoing Gang investigation in which 18 violent gang members were indicted on 64 counts, including multiple felony gang statute violations and several for criminal attempt to commit murder.

The seizure of the marijuana, he said, was done while executing a search warrant in an attempt to locate one of the indicted gang members.
