Mrs. Evelyn Gaynell Gunn Jordan, 84, of Lavonia, Georgia, died on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Pruitt Health in Toccoa, Georgia.  Funeral services will be on held Monday, February 20, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hartwell Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.  The body is at Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  At other times, the family will be at the home.  Flowers optional, or memorials may be made to the Rock Springs Baptist Church, 2229 Rock Springs Rd., Lavonia, GA 30553.  Online condolences may also be sent to the family by visiting www.stricklandfh.com.  Strickland Funeral Home – Hartwell Chapel is in charge of all arrangements.
