Emmanuel College Invites Churches, Local Businesses to Backyard Bash

Emmanuel College is calling local businesses and churches to come together for a time of fellowship next week for the school’s annual Backyard Bash.

The Backyard Bash takes place next Thursday, September 29 from 6p to 8p on the Emmanuel campus.

It’s a time for businesses and churches within our community to gather on campus for a time of fellowship and engagement.

Emmanuel spokeswoman Jerrica Grant said the goal is to increase the involvement that Emmanuel has with the community as well as introduce our students to neighboring resources.

Grant said the event is organized like a community fair where each church or business has a booth/table set up to give away promotional material, freebies, and more.
