Mrs. Emma Vernel Mathis Butts, 95, of Royston, GA, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at her home. A memorial service for Mrs. Butts will be held in the Riverside Baptist Church at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, with Rev. Glenn Lyle and Rev. Tim Peek officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 p.m. until the memorial service hour on Tuesday afternoon. During other times the family will be at the home.
