Elberton Man Charged Child Porn Investigation

An Elberton man is behind bars on charges he uploaded child pornography on his home computer.

The arrest came last week after an investigation by agents with the  Georgia Bureau of Investigation .

GBI spokesperson Sherry Lang tells WLHR News agents received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that 44-year old Christopher Wayne Harrison had uploaded child pornography.

A search warrant was issued to search Harrison’s  home on Jaudon Road.

Harrison was arrested and charged with seven counts of sexual exploitation of children.  He was taken to the Elbert County Detention Center and bond was denied.  Lang said the investigation continues and more charges are possible.
