Edward Helms

Edward Earl Helms, US Navy Retired, age 76, of Martin, passed away Monday, September 2, 2019 following an extended illness. Mr. Helms was cremated in accordance with his request. The family will hold a private memorial service at the Lavonia VFW Post 5897. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org), the Autism Society (www.autism-society.org.), or VA Medical Centers (www.volunteer.va.gov).
