Easter Egg Hunts in Carnesville and Royston Saturday

Just a reminder about the Easter Egg hunts going on Saturday.

Last weekend’s rain caused Carnesville and Royston to cancel their Easter Egg Hunts, but tomorrow’s weather promises to be picture perfect.

In Carnesville, the Easter Egg hunt and Party in the Park will go off as originally planned.

Beginning at 2p, over 12,000 eggs will be hidden throughout the park with four prize eggs in each of the four different age divisions.

After the egg hunt, all children ages 12 and under are welcome to stay in the park and enjoy inflatables, a petting zoo, train rides, face painting and take home an animal balloon from our friendly clown!

They can also visit with the Carnesville Elementary School mascot Carney the Eagle as he hands out balloons!

All activities are open to the public and free to ages 12 and under.  Also postponed until this Saturday is Royston’s Easter Egg hunt.

Sponsored by the Royston Downtown Development Authority, the hunt will take place at 10a on acreage between Ace Hardware and Royston Diagnostic on Franklin Springs St.

There will be thousands of eggs to find, prizes, special appearance by the Easter Bunny and refreshments after the egg hunt.   Again, Royston’s Egg hunt begins at 10a  Saturday morning and is free.
