Early Voting Continues in Hart County For District 2 BOC Race

Early voting continues this week in Hart County in the run-off election to fill the Hart County Board of Commission District 2 seat.

District 2 registered voters may cast their ballots at the Hart County Registrar’s office through Friday, April 11.

Voters are deciding between two candidates in the run-off; Garry Hamilton and Frankie Teasley.   Whoever wins the April 15 run off election will serve out the remainder of the late Dan Reyen’s term, which ends December 31.

They will then have to run again to serve the next four-year term, which begins January 1, 2015.

Four of the five original candidates for the March Special Election have all qualified to run in the May General Primary Election on May 20.
