Dr. Crystal Bright Caring for Families “From Birth to Death”

There was a time when your family doctor would come to your house to treat you or a sick family member.

Those days are long gone and for many finding a family physician or a primary care provider, as they are now called, to treat the adults as well as children in your family, is becoming more and more difficult.

But St. Mary’s Sacred Heart Hospital recently added a new Primary Care/Family Practice physician.

She is Dr. Crystal Bright.

Speaking at this week’s Franklin County Chamber luncheon, Dr. Bright said she comes from a rural area in South Georgia and is familiar with the shortage of family practice doctors in rural areas.

Dr. Bright is a board-certified family medicine doctor. She said she is passionate about providing quality care to patients of all ages.

Having practiced family medicine for the past 18 years, Dr. Bright said she enjoys not only treating her patients but educating them as well.

Dr. Bright says her goal is to treat patients from birth to death. She takes all insurance but also will treat patients with no insurance.

She said it’s about serving the community.

Sacred Heart Primary Care is located at 355 Clear Creek Parkway, Suite 1003, in the medical office building next to St. Mary’s Sacred Heart Hospital.

As part of St. Mary’s Medical Group, Sacred Heart Primary Care accepts most major insurance plans and Medicare and offers virtual visits for certain provider appointments.
