Donations Taken For Banks Deputy Who Lost Everything in House Fire

Donations are being taken for a Banks County Sheriff’s deputy and his family who lost everything in a house fire.

It happened late Thursday afternoon at the deputy’s home on Hickory Flat Road in Gillsville.   Deputy Lee Parson, his wife and three children lost everything in the blaze.

According to the Banks County Sheriff’s office Facebook page, an account has been set up for the family at Regions Bank in Homer for monetary donations.

Clothing, toiletries and other donations for the family are being accepted at the Banks County Sheriff’s Office, 160 Windmill Farm Road, Homer.
