DNR Reschedules Virtual Public Meeting on Hunting Regulations

Earlier we told you about a virtual public meeting by the DNR Wildlife Resources Division for hunters to give input on the 2023-2025 hunting regulations.

If you tried to access that meeting on their Facebook page you were likely disappointed.

Last week, the DNR sent out a notice that bad weather caused a wifi power outage on the 12th, so they had to move the virtual meeting to January 31 at 7p.

DNR officials are asking hunters to lend your comments and ideas on the development of hunting regulation proposals for the 2023-2025 hunting seasons.

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Resources Division has been holding a number of in-person public meetings and one virtual public meeting this month to get input and ideas from licensed hunters.

In addition to the virtual meeting on the 31st, you can provide input via email at [email protected]

Or you can snail mail your comments to Dr. Tina Johannsen/GA DNR Wildlife Resources Division/2067 US Hwy. 278, SE/Social Circle, GA 30025.

Also all comments/statements must be received by the close of business (4:30 pm EST) on February 6, 2023.
