Mrs. Dathon Atkinson Beard, 92, of Royston, GA passed away on Friday, January 10, 2020, at her home. Funeral services for Mrs. Beard will be held in the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, with Rev. Roger Elrod and Rev. Paul Jameson officiating. Interment will follow in the Franklin Memorial Gardens-South in Royston, GA. The family will receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday evening. The family is at the home. Flowers are optional; memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
