Dan Walters

Dan Alvin Walters, age 87, of Lavonia, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at his home. The funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2022 at the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia with Rev. Courtney Umbehant officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until the service. At Mr. Walters’ request, cremation will follow the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Franklin and/or Hart County Future Farmers of America (FFA) Chapters.  Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia is in charge of the arrangements.
