Couple Wanted in Texas Arrested in Franklin County

A couple wanted in Texas for attempted murder, is on their way back to their home state after being captured by Franklin County Sheriff’s Deputies. It happened last week on I-85, according to Franklin County Sheriff Stevie Thomas.
“On Wednesday, February 5th, Sheriff’s arrested 39-year old Casey Lynn Straggs after receiving a lookout in reference to a warrant on Straggs for attempted murder,” Thomas said. “Deputies arrested Straggs on I-85 near Lavonia with assistance from the Georgia State Patrol.”
Angela Lynn Norris
Thomas said in the car with Straggs was 41-year old Angela Lynn Norris, also of Texas.
“Both have been charged with possession of marijuana, possession of meth, possession of drug-related objects, and possession of schedule two drugs,” he said.
Thomas said Straggs waived extradition and was returned to Texas to face charges there.
