Mr. Donald Clyde McDowell, 69, of Hartwell, Georgia, died on Friday, June 10, 2022 at AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, South Carolina.  Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at The Way Church.  The body is at Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends on Monday, June 13, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. At other times, the family will be at their respective homes.  To honor his legacy, the family encourages the public to consider registering as an organ donor at organdonor.gov, make a contribution in his memory to the National Kidney Foundation at kidney.org/donation, or to The Way Church 1332 Airline-Goldmine Rd Canon, GA 30520.  Online condolences may also be sent to the family by visiting www.stricklandfh.com.  Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services – Hartwell Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
