Mr. Claude Benjamin Alewine, Jr. age 95 of Lavonia, GA, passed away July 4, 2022 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 12 noon until 1:30 on Friday, July 15, 2022. Funeral services will be held at two o’clock Friday, July 15, 2022 at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Fred Young and the Rev. Jerrell Beatty officiating. Burial will follow at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors provided by the Georgia Army National Guard.
