Charles Heaton

Mr. Charles Rufus Heaton, Jr, 82, of Athens, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at his home. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Burial will be in the Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery. The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday prior to the service. The family will be at the home of Ann Temple, 994 Liberty Hill Road, Hartwell. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sardis Baptist Church, 4359 Anderson Hwy, Hartwell, GA 30643.  The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
