Mr. Charles Caleb Chitwood, age 87, of Lavonia, Ga. died Sunday September 13, 2015 at his home. Funeral service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday September 15, 2015 at the Lavonia chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 7 pm to 9 pm . At other hours the family will be at the home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter Lavonia, Ga. Strickland Funeral Home Lavonia Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
