CDC Issues New Guidelines for People Who Have Been Fully Vaccinated for COVID-19

The Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta has released new guidelines for people who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

According to their new guidelines released this week fully vaccinated people can visit with other fully vaccinated people indoors without wearing masks or physical distancing.

They can also visit unvaccinated people (including children) from a single household who are at low risk for severe COVID-19 disease indoors without wearing masks or physical distancing, participate in outdoor activities and recreation without a mask, as well as resume domestic travel.

However, the CDC still recommends that even if you are fully vaccinated you should still take precautions in indoor public settings like wearing a well-fitted mask.

And they recommend wearing a mask when visiting indoors with unvaccinated people who are at increased risk for severe COVID-19 disease or who have an unvaccinated household member who is at increased risk for severe COVID-19 disease

Also, the CDC recommends that fully vaccinated people should avoid indoor large-sized in-person gatherings.
