Cathy Alexander Timms, age 57, of Canon, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens. The memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia with Rev. Bruce McGee officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. Flowers are optional or memorial donations may be made to the North East Georgia Animal Shelter, 870 Bear Creek Rd, Lavonia, GA 30553.
