Carol Christine (Cowan) Sanders, age 82, of Central SC, formerly of Lavonia, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 15, 2022 at the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia burial will follow in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, stjude.org.
