Carnesville Ushers In Fall Festival Season With Weekend Events

The town of Carnesville in Franklin County is kicking off the fall series of fall festivals throughout the Northeast Georgia area with their annual festival and concert series beginning tonight.

This year, events kick off tonight at 6p in Carnesville City Park with a performance by the Scott Brantley Band, the Holdman Autry Band takes the stage t 7:30p and at 9p Jason D Williams will perform.

All three concerts are free. All you need is lawn chair and your dancing shoes. Food vendors will be on site as well.

Then tomorrow, the 24th annual Carnesville Fall Festival takes place on the courthouse lawn from 9a to 3p.

Over 40 arts, crafts and food vendors have signed up for this year’s event.

And you will want to stick around downtown Carnesville after the festival and head back down to the City Park for another evening of free music entertainment.

Saturday night, music begins at 5p with Reggie Starrett, then Scott Brantly returns for another performance at 6p Saturday evening.

At 7p Saturday it’s the Jeff Vaughn Band and at 9p the Shenandoah Band performs.

Again, all concerts are free.
