Bowman Man Charged in Fatal Wreck
A Bowman faces charges after being involved in a wreck last week that caused the death of another man.
It happened last Wednesday, October 9th on SR172.
According to Tracey Watson, from the Georgia Department of Public Safety Public Information Office, 24-year-old Harley Kane Thomason of Bowman was traveling on State Route 172 in his VW, when he was rear ended by a Chevy pickup truck.
The impact caused Thomason’s vehicle to travel into the other lane, where it collided head-on with a Dodge pick-up truck.
The Chevy pickup was driven by 57-year-old James Randall Guest also of Bowman.
After an investigation by the Georgia State Patrol Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team, Guest was charged with Driving Under the Influence and Following too Closely.
