Bob’s Small Town Grille to Close

A popular eatery in Royston is closing its doors.

Bob’s Small Town Grille on Railroad Street will close by early next month.

On his Facebook page, owner Bob Adamson said it was a hard and painful decision, but said after eight years, he has terminated his lease.

“It is with a profound sense of sorrow and with great trepidation I make this announcement. ( Barring a miracle) I am closing the restaurant,” Adamson posted. ” Our last day of operation will be no later than 7/11/14, with no intent to reopen in any capacity or at any other location.”  

Adamson did not sight any one specific issue as the main reason for closing but said the closing of his restaurant is due quote, “to a multitude of issues.”

“This was not an easy decision made in haste or due to any single event or week or month,” Adamson said. “THANK YOU for the nearly 8 years of support, friendship and love. I am truly heartbroken.”

 Adamson said for now, the restaurant is still open during their regular hours.
