Mr. Robert Montgomery “Bobby” McMurry, age 82, of Lavonia, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Landmark Hospital in Athens. The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the Lavonia United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Lacey Bowcock officiating. Burial will follow in the Lavonia City – Burgess Cemetery.The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Mr. McMurry to the Lavonia United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 176, Lavonia, GA 30553.
