Blessings to You From the Hart County Humane Society: Blessings the Kitten, That is

A little brown tabby kitten is finally ready for her loving furever home, but not before getting a rough start in life, according to Hart County Humane Society president Donna Madkiff.

“A tiny young kitten was found crying in a ditch at the Hartwell First United Methodist Church,” she said. “It took a while but a rescue angel was able to catch the frightened baby. The kitten had an injured eye, and we think she may have been hit by a car. She was also suffering from an upper respiratory infection.”

They decided to name the baby kitten Blessings.

“Surgery was done on her injured eye; she has no lasting damage to it,” Madkiff said. “Blessings is now healthy and ready for her forever family.”

The kitten has been spayed, microchipped, tested and is negative for feline leukemia/FIV viruses, is appropriately vaccinated, and treated for parasites.

“Twelve-week-old Blessings is available to an inside always home where she will not be declawed. If you are interested in our sweet rescue kitten, please fill out an application on harthumane.org, call/text 706-436-0965 or email [email protected],” Madkiff said.
