Mrs. Mary Elizabeth “Betty” (Ray) Turner, age 88, of Lavonia, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at St. Mary’s Sacred Heart Hospital. The memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2018 at the Lavonia United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flower, memorials may be made to the Lavonia United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 176, Lavonia, GA 30553. Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia is in charge of the arrangements.
