Betty Jo Walker Casey, 92, of Canon, Georgia, passed peacefully on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Athens. Funeral services for Mrs. Casey will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Gaines Chapel Methodist Church with Dr. Sarah Harris Justice officiating. The church is located at 3195 Starrs Bridge Road, Canon, Georgia 30520. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church at 4:00 p.m. until funeral hour.
