Mrs. Betty Schelinda Stowe Carter, 70, of Canon, Georgia, died on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at Hartwell Health and Rehabilitation in Hartwell, Georgia.  Funeral services will be held in the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 2, 2022. Interment will follow in the Franklin Memorial Gardens-South.  The body is at Pruitt Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until funeral hour on Friday, September 2, 2022.
