Mr. Bennie W. Hicks, 76, of Charlotte Lane, Bowersville, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2017 at AnMed Health Medical Center, Anderson. A memorial service celebrating Bennie’s life will held on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at the Flat Shoals Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Flat Shoals Baptist Church. The family is at their respective homes. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Flat Shoals Baptist Church, 2999 Bowersville Hwy, Bowersville GA 30516. The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
