Bauerband Joins St. Mary’s Medical Group

Clear Creek OB/GYN, the practice of James R. Bauerband, M.D., is now part of St. Mary’s Medical Group, a division of St. Mary’s Health Care System that includes 15 physician practices, 35 physicians and 10 medical residents serving all of Northeast Georgia.

Dr. Bauerband has been providing comprehensive women’s health services in the Lavonia area since 2012, including pre-natal care, labor and delivery services, cancer screenings and wellness care. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Bauerband is a native of Dawson, Ga., who practiced at Lanier OB/GYN in Gainesville for 10 years before moving his practice to Lavonia. He earned his bachelor’s degree in microbiology from the University of Georgia and his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He completed his internship and residency at Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta.

Clear Creek OB/GYN is located at 355 Clear Creek Parkway, Suite 1004, Lavonia, on the campus of St. Mary’s Sacred Heart Hospital.
