Banks County Searches for Jail Escapee
Banks County Sheriff’s spokesperson Sgt. Carissa McFaddin says 23-year old Paul Dylan Gross walked away from the jail’s recreation area about 7p Thursday evening.
“He is described as a white male, 5’9”, 150 lbs, brown hair and hazel eyes. Gross is possibly wearing a white t-shirt, orange pants and he was last known to be shoe-less,” McFaddin said
Banks County Sheriff Carlton Speed said authorities using K9 units as well as air and ground searches were conducted until the early morning hours.
Ground searches will continue today, according to Speed.
Other area law enforcement agencies are also helping in the search for Gross.
“Gross was being held on burglary, theft by receiving and obstruction charges. Anyone who makes contact with Gross should call 911 immediately,” McFaddin said. “You do not have to give your name.”
