Some homes in Banks County are without water this morning. A water main break on SR51 North at Webbs Creek Bridge has left customers there high and dry. Water crews are on the scene working to fix the break. No word yet on when water service will be turned back on.

Authorities in Hartwell believe a fire at an abandoned grainery Tuesday morning may have been deliberately set. Firefighters were called to the old Merritt Grain and Feed building about 4:30a this morning.
