Arrest Made in String of Auto Break-ins in Hart County

An investigation into multiple cases of entering autos in Hart County has led to the arrest of a suspect.

On Monday, the Hart County Sheriff’s office announced they had received reports of someone entering vehicles in the area of Anderson Highway and Liberty Hill Church Road.

According to Hart Co Sheriff’s investigators, evidence and information from different individuals gave them the name of a possible suspect.

He is identified as Emory Lewis Isom of Hart County.

Arrest warrants were secured and Isom was found and arrested in Anderson.

Isom faces multiple charges in Georgia including Entering Auto, Theft by taking, Criminal Trespass, and Criminal attempt to commit a felony (Entering Auto) involving multiple cases.

He remains in the Hart County Detention Center.

Isom is also wanted in Franklin County by the Franklin County Sheriff’s office for an outstanding warrant and according to Franklin County Sheriff Steve Thomas they have put a hold on him as well.
