ARDEO Arrests Two in Drug Trafficking Investigation in Alto

A Habersham County couple is charged with drug trafficking after a two-month investigation by the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office.

According to ARDEO GBI agent Trent Hillsman, the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office and the ARDEO executed a search warrant at 450 Harrison Trail in Alto last week.

The search was in reference to a two-month-long investigation, which revealed that Jacquelyn Delosreyes, 58, of Alto, Georgia, and Joey Arguiles, 27, of Alto, Georgia, were involved in illegal drug activity.

Inside the home, Hillsman said agents found 70 grams of methamphetamine, 28 grams of heroin, and fentanyl pills were seized, along with an amount of U.S. currency.

The street value of the illegal drugs seized during the investigation was approximately $9,400.00.

Arguiles and Delosreyes were charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine and charges will be forthcoming regarding the heroin and fentanyl seized from the residence.
