An Early Spring Predicts General Lee

It is Groundhog Day and General Beauregard Lee, Georgia’s official weather prognosticator, is once again predicting an early spring for us here in the south.

General Lee came out of his Weathering Heights mansion at the Yellow River Game Ranch this morning and did not see his shadow.

That means we can expect an early spring this year.

And the folks up north are happy as well.

This morning at about the same time, Punxsutawney Phil also did not see his shadow after being yanked out of his warm den.

That means they can expect an early spring as well.
