Allene Harris

Mrs. Allene Benton Harris, 95, of Canon, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 26, 2018 at Hartwell Health and Rehabilitation after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at the Bethany Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jerry Durham officiating. Burial will be in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receives friends at the Bethany Baptist Church Tuesday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 prior to the service. The family is at Mrs. Harris’ home on Rockdale Road. Flowers optional, and memorials made be made to Bethany Baptist Church, 2085 Bethany-Bowersville Road, Canon, GA, or to a charity of one’s choice. The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
