Advance Voting Starts Today in Georgia for November Election

Advance voting for the November General Election gets underway today.

Advance or early voting runs through October 31st with one Saturday voting day on October 25th.

In Hart County, voters will cast their early ballots at the Hart County Board of Elections and Registrar’s office in Hartwell.

Hart County Registrar John Stercho says there is still some confusion among voters there about where the Board of Elections and Registrations office is now located.

The Registrar’s office moved to office on Cade St. over a year ago.  Stercho said ballots are available at that office.

In Franklin County, voters will go to Carnesville to the Board of Elections and Registrations office to advance vote.

Hours there are Monday – Friday, October 13th through October 31st from 8a – 4:30p.

Sample ballots for Franklin County voters are available there or online at the Secretary of State’s Web site at www.sos.ga.gov.

As on election day, voters need to bring a valid photo ID with them. The photo ID can be a valid driver’s license or state ID, military ID, employee ID, or tribal ID.
