Activities for Kids Continue at Franklin Co Libraries

A reminder for kids as the summer winds down…there are still fun things to do at your local Franklin County Library.

All this week both the Lavonia Carnegie and Royston Public libraries have been holding daily events to celebrate the end of summer.

On Friday, July 28 at 4:00p there will be a Teen End of Summer Party with face painting, crafts, and snacks at the Lavonia Carnegie Library.

Then on Saturday, July 29 at 10:30a, the Carnegie Library will hose a Princess Tea Party with Queen Elsa of Arendelle!

Kids can register for this royal event as Elsa visits the library and they celebrate her coronation.

Chick-Fil-A will be providing chicken, fruit, cookies, and drinks! Princess Jenny plays Elsa and her website is princessjennyparties.com

And a reminder that August 5 is the last day to turn in reading logs to the Lavonia library for prizes; grand prize winners will be drawn on Monday, August 7.
